"We were lucky enough to find Tammy's place for our recent weekend getaway. I can tell you this place won't stay a secret for very long! Under 2 hours from Brisbane and so peaceful and quiet. This home screams of rustic charm, with remnants of days gone by scattered around the property. You immediately feel at home. The house is recently renovated, but also maintaining it's rustic charm, and has everything you will need for a 2 or 4 person getaway. The view of Mt Barney from the deck and kitchen is superb. Will definitely be back!"

"We loved the location and the amazing views of the mountain. So much for the kids to explore, they loved feeding the Guinea fowl, exploring all the old buildings and artefacts and having a campfire. The house itself is beautiful with a great open plan living area and well equipped kitchen upstairs, and two beautiful fresh bedrooms downstairs with amazingly comfortable beds. High quality sheets, bedding and towels".

"We drove down in the evening and arrived in the dark. The house (an old school classroom for the living space), was really nice. Well appointed, with two large bedrooms. We woke up to spectacular views in three directions to different mountains. Hikes at Mount Barney are only 15 minutes away so we did Lower Portals one day and had a chilly but lovely swim in the gorge. The next day we drove a little further the Queen Mary Falls and Daggs Falls. So many interesting things to explore around the property. A lot of history that would be good to learn more about. Cows pass up the road in the afternoon heading to be milked. We enjoyed cheeseboards and wine watching the beautiful sunsets. Great place!"

"A driveway through a gate takes you to this lovely property which was once a school. The grounds are spacious and offer lots of places to sit. Located in the countryside, the views from inside the house and veranda of Mount Barney are spectacular. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped and the furnishing celebrate the heritage of the property and modern living. We loved it."
